Trama: La storia narra dell’incontro e della nascita dell’amicizia tra un ragazzo, Tsugumu Kihara, e un gruppetto di quattro ragazzi. Questi ultimi però appartengono al ramo della razza umana che vive nelle profondità marine. Un tempo infatti l’umanità viveva sul fondo del mare grazie alla benedizione e ai doni del dio degli oceani. Alcuni umani però si staccarono per migrare sulla terraferma. Il tempo passò fino a che le due popolazioni dimenticarono l’una l’esistenza dell’altra.
